Giftedness
Dear Classical Community,
What stories from your life personify truth, beauty, and goodness? Put another way, what actions on your part brought peace and satisfaction that you were fulfilling God’s purpose for your life? Asking these questions of ourselves and beginning to observe these stories in our children are key components in The Giftedness Center’s process.
I was blessed to go through the full process with The Giftedness Center President Bill Hendricks and it resulted in this defining sentence: I love to honor what is true and good and beautiful by doing the right thing in the right way with the right spirit.
At Classical, the vast majority of teachers, co-teachers, and staff rejoice that we are redeeming our own education while we educate our own children; oh that we could each have received a Christ-centered, classical, collaborative education! And it gets even better for our students. By the grace of God, we will see our vision realized: to equip our students to grow into disciples of Christ who love truth, goodness and beauty — furthering His Kingdom as they discover their unique giftings.
Respectfully in Christ,
Jim McCormick, M.Ed.
